Laser Bore Sighters

The Wheeler green laser comes with a reflective target which works well in bright sunlight

Ya I saw that on line when reading about it and reviews, all though I ordered the one from Amazon buck suggested so we’ll give it a shot and see how it goes. Have to see how well it works from 50-100yards. I’ve got just about 100yards here I’m able to use to test and set it.

Then I’ll go out to my friends and try how it shoots, I have upwards of 500yards out there to shoot on - 300acre farm :)

Mine should be in this week from Amazon, so gonna see how well it works and see how far the laser actually goes when it kinda dark out and see if it will help with sighting things in :)

Well I went out just as the sun was down, and walked and measure roughly 50yards and dialled it to my red dot I put on, seemed fairly easy to do once I knew what I was doing lol. Nosey ass neighbours driving by and staring can’t do anything people trying to see what I do here my goodness. I’ll just have to get out and do some shooting and see how well it actually works !!

If it works well, then once I get myself a scope for my 30-30 for hunting I’ll be using it to dial it in as well :))

Good to hear this went well for you ! The money you saved on A, will buy a couple boxes of 'better ammo' like SK+ or Eley.

Hey how is that laser bore site you bought? I seen that one on Amazon also. I’m in need of one too but don’t which one to get.

Kevin

I bought mine from Amazon - it's called "Strong Tools" I think, and it had various extensions/attachments (12 of them I think), with the higher one supporting .69 - .78 cal. If I recall it wasn't too expensive, maybe $50 or so. Comes in a hard case.

I just looked it up. Something like this.

What do you guys think of the Wheeler one that just attaches to the outside of the muzzle? Been eying one myself but not sure if worth the money. Thanks and apologize for side tracking this a bit.

I have the Wheeler Engineering green laser which attaches magnetically to the end of the barrel and it works very well. I have also used a red laser arbor type one and a red laser cartridge type one in 223, also both magnetic and arbor type ones that have a sighting in grid screen. The Wheeler one is in a different class when it comes to usefulness. It comes with a reflective target which I can paste to my Container and sight it in on from twenty five yards. I find then that when I shoot at fifty yards I am only three to four inches off. I only need the reflective target when it is bright sun light, since the green laser is normally visible on my white painted Container.
