I'm not sure, it's not stamped anywhere on the receiver.

I will soon, I'll have to dig it out for routine cleaning and oiling one of theses days.
Those shots were taken back in 2010 when I had it all apart.
I noticed the stock looks cracked in the photos too, but I can't remember it being so when I had it disassembled.
Get lots of pics brother. As airbourne said they don't make em any more. And each one is different in some way (ok most of em are different) my savage no 4 dcra has no date as well. Must have to go by serial number block. Gotta go worken today no time to dilly dally
If you find any Savage marked ones when your looking for these send me a PM i am thinking $50-$60 would fair.

1942 Savages were dated, later ones were not. Mk. I sights were a bit of a bottleneck, I could see a LB sight turning up on an early Savage. The MK. I sight was rapidly abandonned in Canada and the US, being replaced with the 300/600 Mk. II. This was the most common sight for much of the production in both countries. It was also the sight most often replaced later, with an adjustable one.

Hmm, I had no idea they were so rare.
Like I said, I bought it with the rifle because it was the first one I'd ever seen, and I figured it would go well on my nearly mint 1950 Long Branch.
Since I realized that it was probably a target rifle, I've left it alone until I can test it at a decent range.

When I had it apart, I noticed that it had been rebarreled at one point. The receiver is parkerized and the two-groove barrel is blued.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was just cobbled together from available parts to make it a match rifle.
I think it went to England at one point, as there is a B stamped on the receiver near the serial number (I thought is was the LB stamp at first.)
The barrel was probably replaced in Canada though, as there are no British proof test stamps on it. Just a 3 stamped on it.
It is one puzzling rifle.

I bought 3 last year and they come up for sale at least 2 a month.But the production run was only 1941 to early 1942 then they switched to the cheaper to make ones stamped or pressed.

Where did you buy them?
If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay per sight?
The first one $200 [rip off] second $90 third $70 evil bay.Now when i surf around the net they come up here and there for sell gun auctions,forums,evil bay places like those.
I am not sure but a guy may think the Savage marked ones might be more rare the the Canadain marked ones.

Savage supplied the brits with alot of rifles in WW2 under the lend lease deal and they were still useing butt discs for a little while during WW2 so it isn't uncomman to find them on Savage rifles i have one myself.
