LCW 7.62x39 Hollow Point Cross section

Has anyone gotten a chance to cross section a LCW 7.62x39 round? I'd love to see the inside before i buy a case of it.

It is good stuff. If you think the bullets are going to reliably mushroom - well, they aren't. They are steel jacket. They tumble quite respectbly, and they deform on impact, but mushroom? Nope. Perhaps occasionally at best.

My indoor range won't let me shoot these. They fail the "magnet" test. Kind of defeats the purpose for which I bought a case of 1000 rnds. Looks like I'm freezing my ass off till the warm weather

Come out west. One of our indoor ranges has no restrictions on ammo under 50BMG, and it's 18 degrees out today.

They mess up porcupines and coyotes something serious... bullet must be doing something when they hit.

I wish lol. Been trying to get the wife to move out west from Quebec for what seems like forever. I yearn to feel like a REAL Canadian lol. Maybe in the futur when we have less family obligations I'll get my wish.

Is there actually a new range under construction that has been approved by the CFO or is it just rumour?

Here is the thread, its been approved by the city and is under or already mostly done on the construction I have seen it with my own eyes, but they are behind opening it(was supposed to open feb 2015) and im unsure of CFO approval.
