I'm trying a small ground blind for the first time this year, since i just do not have the time to build a tree stand in my new spot like I usually do.
I seam sealed all the seams on the top of the blind the same way I would a regular camping tent hoping to prevent any leakage.
Where are your blinds leaking??? Through the material itself, or through the seams???
Is it best to put these things up way before the season, as to get the deer used to seeing it, and let it get a fresh woodsy smell???? Or will it just get chewed up by the chipmunks and what not??
if you have no worries of it getting stolen..set it up a few weeks ahead of the opener
...Oh, and practice folding those damn things at home first.
...Oh, and practice folding those damn things at home first.
...nothing like trying to turn this blind into a pretzel, while reading the directions by flashlight in the dark.
Took me 15 minutes to figure it out.![]()

fogducker,
Were did you get the catalytic heater for the big tank? all I've seen is the small ones for the 16oz disposable canisters. How do you like the heater? any issues with those types of heaters is smaller spaces like your blind?
im getting lots of air flow,so i dont have to worry about gassing myself out
I bet you don't need propane to do that! Beer and beans maybe...![]()
