Leapers M-14 Tri-rail Handguard

Well Mark, if you noticed you had 9 in stock, now your at 8.

I've never had issue with any of your products, other than I want them all.

(See you Sunday possibly)

Ben

Your price was already adjusted for the change :)

I am hoping to get to the AGM but who knows...

Our website is Questar.com not what you wrote :)

Second... the UTG-MNT-HGM14TR is $84.99 Canadian (never was priced in US dollars on our website so not sure where you got that info).

Unfortunately we do not have the luxury (that some seem to) of being able to export from the US without getting and paying for export permits... we also don't have the luxury of being able to avoid paying Canada Customs the legally assessed DUTY of 7.5% that is payable on all Chinese Made rifle parts. Costs of importation (as a business) have to be passed along so our Canadian pricing is always going to be higher than the discount pricing you can find in the US and if they are willing to illegally ship the items without getting permits then that's their risk and you're good luck.

One point I would make... when we sell product we help stand behind it... when we got a shipment of these very rails that had defects we exchanged them for our customers at no cost to them and we dealt with the manufacturer to get replacements. When you buy from the US directly you have no warranty and it's up to you to try to ship it back to the US (good luck with that :) ). I like to think it's worth a little something to deal with a Canadian supplier and especially one that helps service what they sell and aids in getting warranty service when required.

Sorry for flaming on your company Mark. I know you web site is;
shopquestar.com
And the USD thing was me typing before thinking.
Also I never knew that you guys carried that type of warranty. Even with the "Made In China" stuff. Now with your new readjusted price and warranty show's to me some great value to be had. Although if you were to bring in some real deal Knight's Armament M14 handgaurd's that would make my head go...

We've been dealing with Leapers/UTG for a number of years. The reason that we decided to work with them is that they have an office in Michigan not far from where our US office is (about an hour's drive away). The people at their US office are quite good and our relationship with them is excellent. We only carry a select portion of their product line... items we've tried and that we determined were reasonably good quality and good value for the price. There is a lot in their product line we didn't like or didn't feel was worth carrying (for various reasons) so we choose not to carry those items.

The one very important part of our decision to carry their stuff was that they will 100% replace anything we have valid problems with. This has happened with the odd item we imported. So, if a customer of ours has an issue with one of the Leapers/UTG items they bought from us we assist them in getting that replaced by the manufacturer. Once the manufacturer agrees the issue is valid (very rare they don't agree to that) then we facilitate the exchange (usually taking one form our inventory when available) and getting the replacement from the US ourselves.

This is pretty much true with everything we sell. Technically all warranty's are the responsibility of the manufacturer (and we remind people of that to protect our ass and to avoid those unscrupulous folks who try to pull "fast ones")... but in 99% of cases where a problem crops up with a product we sell the customer deals with us and we contact the manufacturer and we get the problem resolved. In those cases we handle the import cost of the replacement, etc.. Unlike some vendors who basically sell you the goods and tell you your on your own for service and warranty (contact the US manufacturer) we reserves the right to do that but in 99% of cases we handle it for you.

If you are reasonable and courteous with us then we are 100% supportive of you... that is part of our service and I think more than justifies the extra price we charge over and above US prices, exchange rates, shipping, brokerage, etc..

PS... for Knight's rails and accessories you should contact One Shot Tactical... he will be more than happy to assist you ;)

Well, you just sold another one... I've been trying to weasel one from US dealers because I wasn't too keen on paying $140+ at some of the local/online Canadian dealers - well, looks like there was one right under my nose!

Got a CAR-length quad rail with a foregrip handle for my Bushmaster too; that's a long-overdue mod I've been putting off because of the $300 pricing on similar items at various shops.

Thanks Questar! ;)
