Leaving Alberta for Ontario

I live by the lake, south of the 401 in the Rouge Valley area of Toronto. It's a beautiful area.

During hunting season, many farmers permit hunters on their property provided they are asked ahead of time.

Next time before you shoot your mouth off about Toronto, ask one of us that lives here first. I've lived in Calgary and much prefer Banff.

Got no problem shooting my mouth off about TORONTO, Because it's just another #### hole mixing pot of retards that move here call them selves Canadians and continue to live an act like they did back in ####edupastan if you know what I mean.. But don't worry your not alone Edmonton and Calgary is pretty much the same.

So let me rephrase my SOUTH of the 401 comment. South of 401 is good too, but just NOT anywhere near the big stinking urban centers and all the Anties...

:pirate:

80% of Ontario is Crown land, but not in the southern parts. There is lots of hunting in SW Ont, but unfortunately there are very few, if any, rifle seasons where you are heading. Take up bowhunting and ML.

So ya aint a city boy K98ACTION... boo hoo

Dont paint everyone with the same brush. There are far more legal and responsible gun owners in the city of Toronto than anywhere else in Canada.

Ya city living has its moments, both good and bad. I work where the work is and the city dwellers keep me busy, very busy.

Just to be clear, I LOVE ALBERTA.... that's not why I'm going. If I don't come back eventually to live, I'm gonna be buried here.

Thanks for the tips and advice guys. I've been looking at some online stuff re: the "Nearr North", Gowganda/Shining Tree, and Temagami, so I think I'll be tickety-boo as far as finding hunting grounds goes... but what do you guys do with all that freakin' water?!? LOL. Oh well, I guess I'll need a real nice expensive boat too. Wait 'til I tell the Missus.

Expensive boat? How about a float plane :D That is how you can access the real good waters up here....

Its actually nice to hunt in a spot where no one can drive up to you in their truck and ask you if you've seen anything :runaway:

I would never discourage anyone from moving outta Alberta. ROA, if you hate it so much....don't let the door slam you in the arse, ;) PS, you can take another couple of hundred thousands witcha.

I have been trying to stick it out until the crash hits and all the retards go home. Sadly they will probably stick around and steal from me for income. If you see a new member named Republic of Yukon you will know who it is.

Unfortunately I must live in Deadmonton. Don't worry Sheik this ####ing city pisses my off too! but TO really pisses me off, with all the media tention it gets cause of all the RETARDS gang banging each other, (Cause we let them into our country) and my GUN RIGHTS continuely being eroaded cause of them. Do me a favor off some of those TO island hoppers would ya..

I gotta agree, once th yuppies are gone, Alberta will be hard to beat. But I'll live here 'til I die, and I don't plan on dieing any time soon...

Bye bye......

Hi Droid,
I live in KW and have tried out both of the ranges below. (ended up a member at WCRA)
Shooter's Choice is a bit more modern, but doesn't offer outdoor (IPSC, PPC, etc) ranges like WCRA.
Check out their websites and you can choose for yourself.
I've heard good things about Guelph, but I just don't see the point in driving out there when we've got two ranges in town.

Kitchener to the "Near North" at Shining Tree ?

Try Jasper to Pincher Creek, plus an hour.... but flatter !

And lots of water ... Yup, but only for 6 months of the year.
The other 6 months it's pretty good snowmobile trail !
