Hi: I have two lee 1000's and the powder measures are good as long as I use flake powder and no small fine powder like 2400. I bought a new powder measure thinking that the old ones are used when I got them and warn out. I put the new measure on and the same thing, 2400 I swear 1/10 of every measure is slopped out of the measure and down onto the shell plate and I have to keep blowing the powder away from the primer system. I phoned Lee and they asked if the screws were tightened down holding the hopper onto the base of the measure and that is about all they could come up with. Even if I go slow on the press I still get powder residue on the shell plate. I have put some duct tape around the front of the measure to catch any extra powder that is spilt and it is amazing the amount after only a box worth of shells. Anyone have any similar experience with there powder measure? This really is my only problem with the press if this can be solved all the jammed primer feeds will go away. In theory looking at the rubber O-ring I don't know how it spills powder but it does.
