Lee 50th Anniversary Reloader Kit

To those with the breech lock Lee presses...do you find that the breech lock "bushings" (the interrupted threaded insert that you screw dies into...and then lock into the press) have a bit of vertical play when they're locked into the press and the the notch locks into the spring loaded plunger on the press?

I've adjusted the depth of the dies so that when the ram is raised it takes out that play...and if I press the plunger in and tighten the die/bushing tighter there is no play...but is this bit of wiggle "normal"?

With the rounds I load it in I've confirmed the setup/results by measuring the rounds it produces...just wondering about why there's that play in the normal setup.

No.
There should be an o-ring at the bottom of the hole in the press that the bushing goes into.
As you "screw" the bushing in, that o-ring gets compressed, and keeps tension on the die in the "up" position.
I have run across someone else complaining about play in the bushing; it seems their press was shipped without the o-ring.
