Lee Enfield 303 British? Nope!

Nice. Could a 303 be converted to fire 25/35?

No worries on that one. I built up one in 32-40 Win & another in 45 ACP. The 25-35 conversion would be easy, as would one in 35-30. When using the Brewer method of fixing barrels, many options are open for various chamberings on the LE. On a 25-35 conversion, one will have to alter the magazine follower and feed lips a tad to give the cartridge a good approach into the chamber. ;)

Nice looking rifle, awesome looking wood in particular. The 444 is a much overlooked cartridge these days with the "re-introduction" of the 45-70 as a mainstream cartridge. How is availability of brass? I seem to recall that it's hard to find.

It looks very nice, well done. . Nice figure to the wood as well. . Are you planning to have the stock checkered?

I think I'll leave this one as is because it has such nice figured wood. I do like checkering though. When I have a gun that I think I'd like checkered, I'll get my wife to do that - she has all the checkering tools and does a good job.

I see that Tradeex currently has some, but I've got some factory ammo and I'll reload that brass. Factory loaded ammo is easier to find.
