I've got a Lee Enfield sporterized no1 mk3 and I noticed the sythetic stock thats on it is touching the barrel. It already shoots 1.5" - 3 shot groups at 200 yards, but I'm curious if any benefits would be seen by making sure the barrel is free floating and not touching the stock in any way? Thought I'd put this question out to the gun nutz community and see what your response is before I tear it down and break out the sandpaper on the stock.
