I have broke many parts of reloading equipment over the years. Some even due to my negligence if you can believe it. :)
RCBS, Redding, Lyman one phone call and the replacement parts are mailed no charge.
Lee, on the other hand, free first part, charges me for second plus dings me 20$ for the shipping.

What's with these guys? Get with the times!:kickInTheNuts:

I’ve got a decent amount of stuff in my cart at lee. Some of it spares, some to replace broken. The shipping is $40us to get it here. It would probably cost $200 to buy it all, but the part I actually need is probably $40 alone landed here. Either way I’m spending out of my pocket. I guess get as much as you can for your shipping. I don’t see the policy changing anytime soon.

I had a die that wasn't machined correctly, emailed them a picture of it beside a same die from a friend, they sent me a replacement for free (including shipping), no hassles.

We'll see how the second part goes when it comes.

So it appears they have no consistency on how they treat their customers.

None watsoever. Sometimes I've ordered a bunch of parts and everything was free, sometimes I ordered a few and they charged me 10 or 12$ shipping and the part was free. They once charged me for the part (a few cents) but gave me free shipping. Go figure...

I've been lucky, any time something broke I always just sent an email with a photo and a brief, polite explanation. They have always sent the parts free of charge immediately. I've never paid for warranty stuff from Lee.

Higginson Powders in Hawkesbury, Ontario handles Lee precision in Canada. I do not know if they do the warranty stuff but are very fast and accurate when they ship.
