Not sure if i am makeing this more complicated than need be......
I bought a lee pro 1000 (3 die turret)
I had only reloaded pistol calibers up till now but i noticed they sell the kit in .223 aswell so i figured it would be the same as when i started with 45 went and bought dies and a shell carrier plate.....
With the 3 die set there is no way to introduce powder into the shell after it has been reprimed?
In all reality im going to buy a single stage for .223 but lets say i was going to use this setup in my head it goes like this (brass is trimmed)
Case lube shells
Load shells deprime and reprime all shells
Load newly reprimed shells with powder
Remove depriming die and ensure no primers in the feed
Then seat die and crimp die?
Like i said unless im way overthinking this ill just buy a single stage for 223 but can anybody point out if the suggested method would be nesecary with this press or is there a simpler way?
Thank you in advance for opinions
