Has anyone found one of these for sale in Canada yet? I have looked around a lot in the last year, but all I have found is thr left hand 17hmr.

I've been holding my breath for a left hand CZ 452 American but I figure that'll never happen, so maybe a Tikka T1x would be my next best choice.

It was not nice of Tikka to promise the LH T1x years ago and then keep stringing customers along with vaporware this whole time, with still no trustworthy ETA.

We wait, and wait, and wait.

Last I heard in the other thread was Q2 2021, which is anytime now.

We should start a pool lol

Well, at least I know now that I wasn't looking in the wrong spot and that their actually is none.... I guess I will keep holding my breath that a left hand CZ 452 American comes along that I can afford....

The harder I looked the less I found. Sounds like they did a run of 17hmrs and I did see those for sale, but im not even seeing any in 22lr for sale in the USA.... makes me think it'll be a long while before they're in Canada.

Just received an email from Stoger Canada, stating that the T1X in .22lr will not be available until early 2022. I find this so frustrating.

The other kicker, is that manufacturers like boyds, metal, etc won't offer after market parts for them, until they've been around for a few years. So thats a little extra disappointing....

I was just going to post a thread asking this very question.

I'm more than a little pissed when I see them listed for sale on dealers' sites........but they have none in stock.

Meanwhile, there's lots of righty's available.

I actually have two left handed CZ 452 Americans. One is unfired.

But I'm not selling them until I can get a Tikka T1X and make an accuracy comparison.

If you already have a T3X (or ever plan on getting one) then the T1X is definitely the way to go.

The stocks, rails, and triggers are all interchangeable.

Even the eye relief for the scope would be the same if you moved it from one rifle to the other.

I have never owned a t3x but have had a left handed M65, M595 and T3. I also have a 452 American LH in 22lr and 17hmr and a LH 452 Lux, I also have a new Rugwr 31110 on order. But I would really like to try out the T1x. If it's anything like the RH versions, it should run in the same accuracy world as the 452 Americans.

I'm hoping that the accuracy of a T1X will be the same as (or better than) a CZ 452.

I have a LH T3X and I'd really like to have a platform that is identical in virtually every way.

I absolutely hate the lack of being able to mount a Picatinny rail to a CZ 452.

They are solid little rimfires, but I can't stand those stupid grooves in the receiver. *Hello, CZ! It's the 21st century now! Get with the times, already!*

I was thinking about having a steel Picatinny rail modified to be drilled and tapped into a CZ 452 receiver, but I don't really want to go there.

I don't want to modify the gun in any way, and I couldn't find a manufacturer that was interested in making a special run of LH 452 rails.

Not to mention, getting them to line up exactly on both guns would be next to impossible for even the most skilled gunsmith.

I'd like to be able to move scopes around without worrying about a change in eye relief.

A Tikka T1X would take the same Picatinny rail as my T3X, and the LOP and eye relief would be identical.

They'd be a perfect, low cost, practice rifle.

They even have threaded muzzles, so, if I ever DO manage to move to the States, I could attach a suppressor.

Meanwhile, we wait......and wait......and wait......and wait...

My LH T1x 17HMR is slightly more accurate than my old 452 17HMR. That's only with a couple different loads tho. So it may go the other way with different loads, or be a wash. The trigger is quite a bit better out of the box. The old 452 had a YoDave kit in it, so was very close in terms of weight and break quality.

The similarity in ergos and feel between the T3x and T1x is very nice. But the T1x comes with a reduced LOP. Adding a real recoil pad would probably 'fix' that, if a guy wanted.

Just FYI, the rails are different and not interchangeable from the T3x to T1x. At least the EGW and Area419 rails I have. (Highly highly recommend the Area419 Tikka rails BTW. Fantastic design and workmanship.) Obviously the benefits of having Pic rails on your rifles still apply tho.

I'm still anxiously awaiting the 22LR T1x. Come on already Tikka!

I left my ES350B rifle exactly as it looked the day it was bought. Seeing as I only paid £80 for it, including the high mount scope rings and a x2.5 Ajack scope AND a genuine Mauser sling, I thought it best to leave it alone rather than spend a load of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. You can see it here on YouTube -
