They seem to function fine. But yeah, they do hang down further than I’d like. That was one thing I never liked about the CZ452, that the magazine wasn’t at least closer to flush. The magazines for my T1x 17HMR are, but the 22LR version are a different design and hang much lower.
 
Made it to the range to test more types of ammunition in the T1x. It doesn’t seem fussy at all, but I’m a crappy shot. These are the best performers so far. 50 yard targets. 1cm grids.

The mags are the only thing I dislike about my T1x (22LR). Out of the 5 I have 2 give me FTF or stovepipes. I had read on multiple sites that one of the reasons the leftie was so delayed was they were working on the mags....
 
Funny the mags are something I really like about the T1X. I just wish they also offered a flush 5rd.
All 3 of mine function flawlessly.
 
I’ve read about the feeding problems, and 2 of 5 isn’t good odds at all, but so far my 3 feed well. I’m just not a fan of how low they are below the stock. A flush fit 5-rounder would be great!
 
Have a 22lr lh pre in order for the last 18 months (fully paid for) and my lgs did not get one from this allocation that came in. They got a .17. Why no .22, they don’t know. Lgs told me stoeger wont tell them anything, so they only know when it shows up at their door. Guess I should have bought one when I seen others had stock. Just don’t need 2. Lol. Sure hope they have more coming in. Stoeger cannot or will not say one way or another on any incoming or allocation allotments. Hind site, buy it when you see it I guess. Cannot find any stock now.
 
I have had no issues with the mag not feeding correctly, put 300 thru this rifle so far and all is good. It’s a very good shooter, all ammo I’ve tried has had great results. Only ammo I have had not give me a clover leaf at 25m is the subsonic, and I’m fine with that. Getting very good, actually really good groups with mini mags and hv match. Bulk ammo gives me about .75-10 shot group, the better ammo is .59 10 shot group. I just need to do my part better and I can enter the challenge. Very nice rifle no complaints here.
