I was really leaning towards the M37 but the problem is the barrel is fixed length and choke. Allegedly there will be an interchangeable barrel available later this year.
I'm a lefty, but I'm right eye dominant so I tend to shoot right-handed.
I just got me a Weatherby PA-08 and I can handle it either way.

????? All of the newer Ithaca m37's are fitted with Briley choke tubes have been for a few years now. Is it the featherweight or waterfowl model you are looking at??? What do you mean the barrel is fixed length???
We're both right:
On the sporting guns (with engravings of geese and dogs, etc), you can swap chokes. Barrels can be changed, but they need to be fitted by a warranty center. There is no shortish (18" or so) barrel available. You can't make your sporting gun a home defense gun.
On the defense guns, the only available barrel is an 18" cylinder bore. Both the barrel and choke are fixed. You can't make the home defense gun a sporting gun.

Specially for cheaper shotguns like bps n m37, just goin to store and grab one. whatever feels more comfortable pullin the trig with barrel sight lining up with ur eyes are keeper. They all eject, pump the same. Few weird ones eject at the bottom and left.. so weird for me... just my opinion.
sry i still think ithaca pumps are cheap.
my taste and urs is different.
