So lighter than a bare Tikka. I should’ve bought one of those in 7o8 when they were available. The truly LW LH market is probably the most underserved niche.6lbs 2ozs scoped.

Unfortunately, most of these rifles aren’t actually light.
Bingo. My goal is a bare rifle under 6lbs - the Kimber hunter is only 5lb 7oz and would at the top of my list if it was available in a lefty. End goal is a rifle no more than 7lbs with optic, a full magazine, and sling.
That Forbes rifle is NICE but the price is well beyond my budget. I'd say $1500ish is probably my max, but I'd be plenty happy spending less. A Tikka lite or superlite in a wildcat stock seems like my best/most affordable option currently...?

You would cry if I told you I paid less than that for it.
I had it painted, a couple of tweaks, and the barrel lobbed an inch and I’m just about at $1500. You are likely thinking NULA though.
Hard to beat a tikka in a wildcat stock for a budget left hand fly weight
I have a left hand Savage 11 in 7-08. I'm not sure of the weight, but it seems light to me. If your taste leans toward higher end rifles, then it's out of the running. Otherwise, it may be a viable option.
Another option, as you've noted is Tikka. I have a LH Tikka T3 in 6.5 Swede that is extremely light to carry.

im in a very similiar boat as you man!
savage?
Savage doesn't make any lefty versions of their lightweight models. The model 11 is too heavy for my purposes at well over 6lbs. In fact, I'm pretty sure the axis is their lightest lefty option, and I'm specifically trying to replace an axis with something lighter.
