Is there any scope manufacturer that sells proprietary lens covers beside Leopold? This will determine my next optic purchase.

I believe Swarovski has their own covers available for some models. Butler Creek and Aadmount also make generic models for various scopes.

Thanks. I have also since discovered that Zeiss also makes their own.

Generic covers suck, I prefer the covers that thread into the scope.

Butler Creek covers are nice because they are easy to remove from the scope on clear weather days.
Here are a couple BC Scope Cover tips. If the caps makes a slight tick noise when they flips open, glue a tiny piece of foam on top of the cap, and if a cap is slightly too large, wrap some black electric tape around the scope tube to increase the diameter. Works for me! WK

Or better yet, wrap the electrical tape around the inside of the cover. It'll keep any glue off the scope.

I have the Butler Creek covers on my hunting rifles, they work pretty good overall, except that over the years Ive broken a couple when they got caught on branches . Overall for the price they can't be beat.
