Here is my Winchester 94, in .32 special. It's from 1922, no options or anything. Just a run of the mill 94. My great grandpa bought it used in about 1923 in Idaho and hunted deer with it. He passed it to my grandpa who also hunted with it, and then to my dad. My dad used to shoot but ended up growing away from guns after I was born. It sat dormant in a case for about 25 years. He kept it clean so the bore is in really good shape still. I love it, and I want to buy more! haha.

A couple big bore carbines. The top is very scarce 1895 Marlin carbine in 45-70 made in 1905. Bottom is Winchester 71; some call short rifle and others call carbine. Both good bear busters.

Sold my 45-70 Henry Steel to fund a 1895 Trapper and after months of waiting and hand picking the best rifle of the bunch at my LGS I found the one that had the best fit and finish - May 2018 production. Unfortunately I'm unable to remove the forearm but completely disassembled the rifle, polished all the internals, shimmed the lever to eliminate the side to side movement, notched the lever plunger slightly to prevent the lever from popping open. The end result is one heck of a slick action and trigger pull. I have to admit it's even smoother than the Henry I just sold. Not use to the peep sights but after some practice my handloads was grouping very well at 30 yards.
