Lets get a some lever action #### going

I found it on CGN by making a WTB post and bumping it forever and then I forgot to bump it, and suddenly when I bumped it again somebody PMed me and said they had one for sale. I thought they must've been mistaken because they're so rare, but when I saw the pictures I froze. The 30-30 is what I'd call a shooter's grade, somebody carried it so it cleaned up nicely but it has some bluing wear and wood scratches but it cleans up nicely. Some surface rust spots smaller than a dime on the barrel which are mostly removed now but some discoloration there will show up under bright light. And I had to clean some dirt out of the action especially behind the ejector and the bluing around the muzzle is gone. But it's a solid gun aside from those small cosmetic demerits. I also have the same gun (336 Cowboy) in .38-55 that I found on CGN too. I hope I am not hoarding them lol

I wonder if they were formally sold here or if this one somehow made its way from the US? The 30-30 one seems to almost be a myth. I would make a WTB and bump it kind of like a hobby and when I got a msg that somebody had one, I almost didn't believe it to be true. Even in the US the old postings for them were gunbroker and long gone. I wish I could find production numbers.

A new to me Marlin 336RC in 32Spl
It's not a safe queen, it looks cared for, well used and carried a lot.

Marlin 336RC 32Spl, Serial# U28###, 'U'=DOM (Aug)1960-61

This rifle and my made in 1900 Marlin 1894 25-20Win TD, have thin sleek forends when compared to the rest of my Marlins.

Beauty of a rifle, that's just how I like my hunting rifles, just like that.no worries if it gets a scratch or some bluing wear, but well taken care of ,cleaned&boiled.enjoy,

Well I finally found my holy grail lever gun. I’ve been searching for quite some time for a Miroku made Win 92 and finally found one. No dealers or EE sightings but saw one on gun post so being quite leery of that site did a ftf and sure enough the bnib 92 he advertised was actually in his possession…

The truck window pics were for the buyers amusement as he lives in a condo in downtown Toronto, lol

That is a nice find, you do not see many SRC with the large loop lever around!

I was actually looking for the small loop lever if I had a choice but took what I could find, lol
I’m thinking I’ll be quite pleased with it with heavy gloves on this fall if it gets cold enough while deer hunting…

Yes, 44Mag for sure. That’s what I was looking for.

I’ve had a few Miroku made rifles over the years, a 92 in .357 and a Browning BBR in .300 Win mag and have been impressed by the fit, finish and quality of their rifles. So a few years before retirement I took a job with a Japanese company and spent some time in Japan working with them and seeing their work ethic’s. That explains the quality of most of their products. I wouldn’t want those work ethic’s come over here though, but it’s nice seeing it from a distance, lol
