Let's make a concerted effort to get pics, shall we?

And there are some odd pics as well. Who wants to see a pic of a gun leaning up against a truck? Or a truck and camper? Or a close up of a bunch of gear on a quad?

Same old ignorant Duffy.

Don't worry about the comments from some of the lest respectful hunters guys, all the pics are good! Keep em coming

Great photos Ted. Is the red on the top of the mountain the sun, or something else I'm not catching?

Those trout steaks look excellent.

Appreciate the compliment. The late evening sun shining on scrub arctic birch alpine is the red hue.

We had steaks from the same trout for supper the night before, too. It is excellent fare out of our cold waters. This picture was breakfast. :)

We were out for elk and / or black bear yesterday, but the weather wasn't very good in SW Alberta yesterday. No luck... but I guess that's why it's called hunting!

And this is probably my favorite duck I could and will shoot. Love how beautiful they are can't wait to not be unemployed and one day be able to get a male woody tax'd on a nice piece of drift wood.

Here are a couple of shots from my season so far. I have been hit by the bird hunting bug pretty bad lately and really want to get myself a pointing dog. So far this year I really haven't gotten the urge for much deer hunting. Probably because the temps have been in the high twenties around here, but at least we have a three month long season so I still have a bit of time.

There are some VERY NICE pictures on here. Hunters with guns, game and dogs. Nice scenic shots of hunting areas.

And there are some odd pics as well. Who wants to see a pic of a gun leaning up against a truck? Or a truck and camper? Or a close up of a bunch of gear on a quad?

I do...sometimes they're more interesting than the "pose-with-the-dead-animal" photo. :D

You might not like some of these either unless you find a pre-64 300 H&H in original condition interesting or a 180 gr. "Fail Safe" just retrieved from a (dead) moose
...how about a nice female Black Lab? and you have to like the young Bald Eagle and the pretty airplane ;)
