OK I'm late to this

but here's some early pics of my Carbine with Leupy MR/T

Who manufacturers those handguards? Maybe I have not asked the right people but I wasn't aware of any for the non-restricted versions.

I'll have to get one!!!:dancingbanana:

I believe they are made by B &T for Swiss Arms. TSE lists them for the two restricted length models (Carbine & CQB).

I don't believe they exist for the non-restricted rifles.

I had a BlueStar .223 ... she's now an OD Green Star with matching scope and rings ... I named her Silu after my gal-pal as this rifle is ###y ... ;) :D

I'll tell you after Saturday. I haven't had a chance to try it out with it on.
Initially, I had an Aimpoint clone stuck on it and I was quite surprised that it held zero and it was shooting pretty darn accurately at 100yards.

How many colours does the PE-90 come in? I see lots of light green in Switzerland and black in Canada. Now on this sight I've seen grey. So is this a difference between SIG and Swiss Arms models?
Now I must decide from a PE-90, StG43, Tavor and AR-15. I am leaning towards the Swiss rifle. And the barrel can definately be changed, correct? How does the Swiss barrel fair with rust resistance? Any issues? Are there aftermarket stainless steel barrels for this rifle?

the early rifles made by SIG had a slightly different color then the later series.

The rifle comes in the colors blue, green (it's actually more a grey) and black.

Rust resistance of the barrel is excellent, it's the gas tube that isn't quite so rust resistant. After market barrels are available (at least in Germany), but probably rather difficult to get in Canada.
