Just picked up the youngest member of the family.
Long story short: many years ago I got a black 552 with the short barrel at a real good price, on which I just couldn't pass, even though I never really liked the short bbl and the four prong-muzzlebreak-thing.
Well, I never really warmed up to it and eventually replaced it with a 551SB and finally a 551LB
A few weeks ago I got a real good offer to have the old safe queen converted to the new 553-standard and a barrel-change at way less then the retail price. I just had to do it. At the same time a friend of mine had his 551SB with green furniture at the shop to have it redone to a black 551LB, so we ended up trading our stocks and pistolgrips.

What I changed:
-switched furniture from black to green
-different gassystem
-new bolt carrier
-now less canted charging handle
-picantinny-rail on righthandside of the handguard
Completly forgot to get the bajo-lug, will get one as soon as possible.
