...random ass question...

my IDIOT buddy was putting my rifle up against the target (cardboard cut out) and RIGHT up meaning the flash hider was touching it and then shooting it blowing a big hole through it due to the gases. Now there is no way he could have "hurt" my barrel now could he...? Cardboard seems pretty weak and easy to blow through, plus the gases can escape through the flash hider slits as well if they were being "blocked".

Sorry for a dumb question...I just don't want my $$$ rifle I saved forever to get ruined!!!

on this occasion, your okay, but maybe consider this incident before you let another "Idiot" handle your rifle.
 
Thanks guy...I assumed/hope it was okay. I was running back to the bench to get some more ammo for it when it happened...he got a big talking to and now will not leave my rifle with people when I go back to the bench!!!
