Alright I'll start with a few of my Laurona and later take a few of the Franchi.

I'd like to know where you are guys are finding these firearms. Browsing through estate auctions?

The before pic's are on page 22 & 23 of this thread. Clabrough & Brothers Side lock ejector Nitro proofed for 2 3/4, 1 1/4 oz shells. Had it tightened up by a very competent Gunsmith and checked over to make sure it was safe for modern shells. It is. Took it all down and and cleaned everything. Except the butt pad it would not come off. Apparently it is made of bone along with an insert in the forend. I refinished the stock and got most of the dents and dings out. I would have rather taken the "after" pic's outside but the weather sucks. These pic's do not do it justice but here they are anyway.
This is the first woodcock taken by my Chapuis 28 ga using Oban to point and hold and Wincheter AA 8.5 to knock it down after it flushed as I advanced.

I'll be pissy and agree the photos suck because now I'm really annoyed I was slow and didn't get that one. LOL
Seriously, that gun is just getting better and better. I love the nitro proofed Damascus and that the whole thing checked out well with your smith. Love the way the stock came out although I keep getting a bit dizzy every time I see the stock on the Chapuis 28 gauge.
I sure hope on a better day you're going to take some shots that really show it off.
