Let's see some pic's of your SxS's & O/U's

You guys all suck...... here I was happy hearing out getting grouse with my Yildiz over under and I have to endure this?.......

I see bad (meh, good), things happening with parts of this year's annual bonus...... and a few guns going on the EE to boot.....

Please keep them coming...... and victoryxc and beretta1963..... if you guys have a particular gun you are proud of, I would love it if you brought them down to show and tell......

Something tells me that we'll be coming with a trunk full of shotguns....my goal is to shoot out the barrel of one of my guns so I'll need a back up

John, I've got a Philly Sterlingworth 16 in a similar, if not worse, state. Stock has been cut to 12" LOP. Barrels got polished for a blueing and then left. But I got it for a song and finally have found the right piece of wood for it. Now I'm having a debate with myself about whether I should have some custom shaping of the receiver done before I have it stocked. I'm thinking of a little work around the fences and an effort to get the "arrow head" nicely symmetrical and to a nice point, like a higher grade Fox. The Sterlingworths didn't get quite the same attention to detail - they tended to just polish up the rough forging. As far as engraving goes, I think I will opt just for some barrel wedges. I am coming to think there are few receivers as pretty than a plain, nicely CCH coloured Fox receiver. Doesn't need the engraving.

Sound very good James, I was thinking about doing the same thing with another Sterlingworth I have, I even talked to Brian (engraver) about it, I already have the wood for it, just have to decide what to do with the receiver. Decision, Decision, Decision, By the way the barrel wedges is a great idea Thanks :)

Fox Sterlingworth "Skeet and Upland" 12 ga. with 26 inch barrels ejectors, factory pad, beaver tail foreend and double ivory sights, Right barrel is skeet, left side is 1\4 choke, not too many of those around.
