Lets see some pics of your Tacticool VZ 58/858s

Drop in or gunsmithing needed?

Mine was drop in. I know some of the 11.8" needed machining. Remember the ones wolverine had on sale little over a year ago. Some of those needed machining. There was a certain serial number block that needed it. Can't remember the ranges though. It's on here somewhere. For all I know maybe none of the shortys need it. It was only a 5 mins job. Like changing mag release and bolt hold open.

Thanks man. I had some tan parts laying around so I said why not.
The lower handguard is a modified piece. I bought the set from corwin arms. They had some that had a faulty design on the upper. He was selling them off as a paperweight for $28!! So I picked a set up. I modified the lower hand guard to work with my NEA upper.
I think it turned out pretty good.

My little collection... I've been slowly downsizing. The two short CSA's are my "keepers", and I think I have them both set up the way I want :) The longer one in the last two photos with the Galil stock is a CZH, and is currently on the EE.

Is that a stock lower handguard on your longer CZH and if it is, did you mount a picatinny rail on it for the forgrip?

Looks good by the way!

Hi there. Fierst nice build. I am just about finished my CZ. I got one of those paper weights from Corwin too. If you have a spare origenal upper hand guard you can cut the piece that supports the gas rod. Then with a strong 2 part epoxy and 2 rivits you make the fix the new upper for use. With a sharpie you can barliy see the mod.
I just trade for a baby brother for my CZ, a really nice VZ in .223. It has a nice wood set on it plus has a magwell conversion done. I think I am going to leave this one just like it is ther then putting a red dot on it. Will get pics up as soon as possible. Have safe fun shooting.
Cheers
