I also found a way to reduce the height of my VZ-VSS :) rifle by an 1.5 inches.
i found the scope mount thats 5/8 lower, and i'm cutting the stock down another inch... this is "before" :

I wasn't implying anything. In my experience, the things "that go without saying" are the most important ones to say. I don't know about you, but I'd feel bad if someone got hurt doing what I said because I omitted important information.

they are hard to find.... Put a WTB on EE and hope.. :) thats what i did.. and bought it for $325 slightly used... other than that .. infratek tactical has a "coming soon" on them for over a year, zahal.org use to have some too...

What kind of upper handguard is on the rifle with Galil stock? Is that Infratek? I find the NEA upper handguard too short for most of scope mounts. So far I found the one from Leapers that fits, but the quality of it is kind of crappy. I will try my fiend's PEPR, to see if it fits.

yes back then i was using the infratek handguards. that particular one was made out of plastic.. so i ditched it.
 
I Plan on buying one someday. Man you guys have done some amazing work to these rifles. Lot's of food for thought.
 
Just got a non-res this month from the latest Wolverine Supplies shipment. This is my first rifle and first time firing more than 10 rifle rounds in a row.

Nice rifle. What the LOP with that folder adaptor on?

In the pic it looks like your rear sight was at the "U" 300m battle sight setting. If so, that explains a lot of the shooting high.
 
Kagey, have you popped the floorplates off your 5 rd. mags? Is there just a small piece of sheetmetal angle iron riveted to the sides? I asked for the price on one at a local shop...55 bucks! no thank you I says to him. I bought an extra 30 rounder that I'll probably cut down. BTW is it just the lighting or is the rifle and mags black?
