If that rail is flat on the bottom it's going to cause lots of stoppages.

What do you mean stoppages and why would that happen ?

The VZ ejects pretty much straight up. A rail that runs over the center of the receiver and does not include a shell deflector will cause some empties to bounce back into the open receiver during cycling.

Hey alexD92, how do you like the Neit Arms Crusader brake? Don't know if you have anther brake to compare it too, but I have wondered how the recoil and group sizes compare to say the NEA Heavy brake which I personally like. I want to buy another brake but have found little info on this designs performance.

I have the Crusader brake on my rifle and I've got to say it's performance is superb in regards to mitigating muzzle rise. The only trade off I've found is with the weight of the brake, as it is not a small piece of metal.
