Lets see some pics of your Tacticool VZ 58/858s

My new CSA. I put the scope in a cheaper cantilever mount, looks kind of funny, but it's actually really comfortable, and the angle of the mount spits the cases forward. Haven't actually shot it yet, so hopefully it works lol.

Almost done, now all I need to do is find some 7.62 lar mags. Anyone got any extra lol.

Hmmm, my scope hung over the port like that and got badly dinged by casings. Keep an eye out for that,

Go with a BFG vickers sling over a single point. But if you are set on a single I ran a magpul MS3 on mine for a bit, and youd only need one as its quick detach.

What?? there is an adapter for 7.62 CZs to use the 7.62 LAR mags... Whaaaat?? NOoooo.. Please tell me all about it. I feel that i lived under a rock for a while. :)

Also, whats that grip on your gun and where is it from??????

Me too I didnt know about this adapter thing. What is this?

Wolverine offer a 7.62 adapter that requires machining to install. The CSA adapter from zahal.org is claimed to only be for the .223 guns, but fits just fine in my 7.62 11.8" vz58 carbine. XCR pistol mags also fit nicely in the CSA adapter, as expected for a STANAG compatible mag. At the moment I have an interference problem in the receiver that prevents the XCR mags from seating fully. This will require machining to correct and I haven't had time to get that sorted yet. 5440fight's rifle is machined differently than mine and has no interference problems with the mags. It functions fine with XCR mags and the adapter. Once mine is machined to match his I expect the same performance as he gets.
