Lets see some pictures of your tactical SKS

dont mean to spoil the party here, but i just dont get the idea of putting a Tapco stocks on SKS. What is the motive..? to make it look like AR.. ? that would be a long stretch..
also i dont think it helps in performance in any way other then extending a length of pull, but even that could be achieved differently :) it just looks the same as if you would put a modern Civic bodykit on some 1949 Ford Cupe ... but thats just me... :) dont get me wrong, i like customizing firearms ... but it has to have some style/character to it... oh well its just me.. :) :nest:

Power pill .. i like that AK looking sks.. classy..

just to spice it up a little. plus its more comfortable to shoot with. the wood stock is ok to use a pistol grip feels much nicer to hold onto in my opinion. its a cheap gun to buy shoot and modify so why not have fun with it :)

heres mine, not really tactical but i like it :)

Yes I agree.. Pistol grip is more comfortable, I also had a choate dragunov stock on my SKS and that felt great.. I guess It's an AR stock on SKS that really turns me off .. To each their own.. :)

I said it before and I'll say it again: I hold no illusions that adding a Tapco stock to my SKS will make it more accurate. Quite simply, I think it looks cool and I much prefer a pistol grip. I also have a 6'5" arm span so the extendable buttstock is nice. Much more comfortable in my opinion. And I have another SKS that is bone stock, just in case I feel the need to be uncomfortable.

Good job guys! Making the purists and fudds cry :nest:

For anyone looking, here is the buttpad I ordered for my Tapco stock. It is currently in stock (AIM-PM4). At the time I couldn't find any Tapco brand buttpads in stock anywhere. This one fits perfectly (scroll down to end of page):
