here is my 10/22 with a cristie stock, LED flash light and laser

where did you get that stock? do you know of any other aftermarket parts for the 795?

I got the stock from Marstar. $100 or so I think. I looked around to see if there was anything else aftermarket for it, but aside from the ever elusive 15 round mag, there's nothing.

Fortunately it doesn't need much else. I gave mine a trigger job and did a few other small odds jobs to it, but like I said, I find it really doesn't need much.

I have peep sights on mine now and I can shoot 10 rounds into just over an inch at 50 yards. (benched, not off hand) So that says to me I don't need a better barrel; It comes stock with a "last-shot-bolt-hold-open" catch, so there's no need to modify that part either.

The only downside is that you can't get higher capacity mags. I solved that problem by stocking up on the 10 rounders.

For the price, it's a lot of gun.

I was able to score one of these.....it was a little tough as they have been discontinued. Handles real good, trigger is a bit heavy, but I can live with it.

Stevens 87H and a Cooey 64. Found both in barn dead. The Stevens has been a great little rifle. Just getting around to the Cooey now. If I don't get too anal I should have oil on the stock tonight.

Here's one I just finished. Modified factory stock, hammer and sear, mag release myself. Skeeter 16.5" TPH barrel, bolt handle( slightly modded by me), bedding kit, trigger. Bushnell 3200 5-15x40 on VQ cantilever mount. Tasco rings, waiting for my B-Squares.
