That's what the weapons tech do. You punch the roll pin out on a regular charging handle and replace it with the Badger one.

I really think the guys busting a nut over surplussed triads were guys that couldn't find a legit source. They are out there.

The problem is they're right under all our noses....just about all of this can be bought without stealing anything but that point is lost on most. Now with CC selling and others making bits obsolete, I think those that point fingers should start to mind their own business.

You should leave the triad on the SA upper for the weigh, considering the BUIS and GL cover are left on the IUR.

The Troy BUIS where on the SA15.7. So Since the SA had a set of sights I put DD irons on the IUR for a fair comparison.

The DD sights are 79.4 grams, the Triad is 115 grams, The Colt rubber cover is 39 grams , The Troy BUIS is 48.1 grams

You can do some math now to figure out how you want it... lol...

Either way The IUR is still heavier...

How much does the triad weigh?

I guess my point was that not everyone is going to be running that specific configuration with the DD irons and GLL cover. Assuming irons would be attached to the IUR is fair, but assuming a triad will be attached to an SA upper is probably just as much of a given.

I'd still be interested to see the comparison between the two with either the triad on the SA, or everything extra stripped off of both.
