ISL has 3 gun matches at Victoria Fish and Game.

A few updates:

Shotgun updates:
-threaded barrel for chokes
-added +2 extension
-opened loading port
-added another Invictus carrier
-got my quad loading down pretty good

Rifle updates:
-Phase5 EBR
-Blade-tech drop leg rig
-BUIS
-LAR mags with extensions
-mag clamp that will probably live in my bag

Pistol updates:
-New Walther Q5 Match woohoo!


Thinking about painting my shotgun. I'm not opposed to my guns showing a bit of wear, but there's a big idiot-mark on the reciever from the previous owner that bugs me.

How do you carry the rest of your shotgun shells?

I have a chest rig if necessary (holds 24). I can also put a few in the buttock pouch. And I have an S&J shingle that I may stick on the side of the receiver (not sure about that yet).

I am the world's slowest SG reloader. I bought 12GA dummy rounds so I could practice this winter. How many times do you think I did that?

I'm guessing "zero" by your phrasing? As long as you're not single loading, you can't be the slowest.

We tend to end up with one shotgun-only stage at our matches due to range layout. I started with 48, including the match saver and loaded gun, on Stage 5 at the last match.

Zero would be correct. As for single loading?

I am good for 46 (unloaded) with the chest rig, stock pack and EZ8's (2). Anything more than that will go in the pockets.

I love a good "Duke-Nukem" style shotgun-only stage (even if it takes me a long time to complete)!

You can twins out of the EZ8's. Give it a try.

I haven't used my side saddle since I started with twins. I find it gets in the way.

Beretta 1301 Comp 24" with Briley extended tubes and a plus whatever to give me 6 in the tube, one in the chamber and one on the match saver.
Colt Comp 1911 in 9mm.
