lets see your Norincos

Holy thread resurection. Since we're on the subject on Norincos and :needPics: here are my 2 M213.

The Norinco 1911 does not contain any MiM parts. Almost all the other 1911s are poisoned with schmoed-out MiM parts.

I will admit that not every Norinco is perfect. But if you get one from Armco, you will get a good one. And the 1911 that Gunnar tunes is the best pistol for the money anywhere.

The Norinco that you see in the picture has stock fire-control parts and a few custom touches. With Gunnar's skilled work, the trigger is crisp and the piece shoots like a dream.

As I mentioned, I tested a Colt slide on my Norinco frame and everything fit perfectly. I also compared the Norinco slide with the Colt slide and believe it or not the original Colt slide had more tool marks than the Norinco.

You are certainly missing a bet if you do not have a Norinco 1911.

Since we're reviving this Zombie thread, here's my Norc Compact. Armco tuned, Novak Competition sights and extended single sided thumb safety. 100% reliable, highly accurate and a ton of fun.

media in blaster was too course, this was my test gun for parkerizing. There was still some crystal residue on the parts when I took the picture.

Brownells has 3468 diferent 1911 parts to tweek Norincos which can't even be imported.
False info. If that were true, how would all these people be modding their Norincos??
Anything made by Colt, Wilson Combat, Nighthawk Custom, STI, and a bunch of other REGISTERED companies I can't think of right now, can all be imported into Canada, in fact with air shipping you'll have it in a few days, just keep it under 100 bucks.. The list is posted somewhere around CGN.

One of these ain't a Norc

Sorry for jabbing at you like that... I was thinking that myself... at my old work place we had two types of media for the blast booth, glass bead for stainless and some type of glass mixed with something else for carbon. Taking bits of carbon to the mini blaster and hitting it with glass bead and seeing that result compared to the actual carbon steel media from the booth... looks like the difference between 200grit and 1200grit sandpaper @.@ That carbon media just tears the shiat out of the steel

@rustysdream: Not usually one for shiney pimp-type guns, but that Norconia actually looks pretty sick, I like the grips, very smexy...

@enefgee: that's the norinco commander eh? that takes regular 1911 mags right? been tossing between one of those and a government 1911 @.@ and all standard 1911 parts fit (roughly) and work with it correct?

@colin: tsk tsk tsk... what are you doing sullying your norincos with a name brand like Beretta? some peoples kids /(-.-)\ Oi... Still all are very ###y :D and that manual... yeah, when aliens come to invade, norinco is here to save us @.@ priceless ^.^
