As much as I like the idea of trying a scope on one of these rifles, the height over bore is getting back to similar levels to the guns without the FTU.

Once I get my FTU on I plan on using a 4x30 fixed scope. It has a Mildot reticle and I don't really plan on using the rifle further than 200 meters. Is height over bore(HOB) a big issue with that set up? Too be honest, I'm not 100% clear on what exactly HOB is. What little I do know is that it's more of an issue with longer range shooting. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I do like the FTU, but I think I'll wait & grab a second one, used when the price is right, hopefully for a deal to cut up & get the FTU...until then, I'll admit..I like the fugly handle! If Anyone here that has Upgraded, & happens to have the SEE THROUGH rail for sale, & also the Real Sword front rails, please PM me. I'll take them off your hands.

While I don't regret selling mine for an XCR....bullpup not for me....and I wasn't comfortable chopping the rifle, that looks pretty damn GOOD!

These rifles are so much better looking with the FTU , cant wait to see the lower thats coming down the pipeline. You guys should just start building the complete rifles!

Mine work. But I hit em with a couple coats of black krylon awhile back. Don't know if that's got anything to do with it or not. I'll take a couple I didn't paint next time I get out and see if I have any failures.

Yup. Reminds me of an AUG A3. Funny thing is, after that rail the T97 is actually more expensive than an AUG A3 down here.

Word is, they are also going to make a LOWER peice for it for the frond end!
