He looks pretty serious for not having a mag in the rifle and the bolt locked back :p

for real though, very cool little sight, and knowing Leupold it is probably very nice glass :D

Wonder if the MRD on top is built in, or just the new Leupold one with an integrated mounting foot on the sight.

In a sentence, the HAMR is a well thought out ACOG competitor with a built-in secondary sight up top and a sweet LED-lit reticle in the 4x magnified tube that combines an aiming circle with a tiny dot for precision at longer ranges. With 3 inches of eye relief and 40 grams lighter than an ACOG, it’s worth a look. If you want to know what “HAMR” stands for you’ll have to watch the video. Available for $1500 MSRP initially in black next year, followed by a dark earth version later.

Reminds me of an ACOG. Thing is people have pretty well moved on from the ACOG/MRD mix. Now make an affordable, dependable and functional Spector DR and I'll be interested. To be honest the TR24G is way more affordable and probably a better all round setup.

I personally like the ACOG + Dr Optic very much. Superfast acquistion with the Dr. Optic at close range and very well situation awareness.
