My wife just bought me a 7600 police carbine 16 1/2 barrel in 308 for Christmas and I am looking at one of these scopes as well. Any feed back on the product is appreciated boys. For instance is the tube 30mm?

Hey HeadDamage, whatis wrong with the 3x9 other than it is discontinued.I will probably buy the 2.5x8 looks like a decent mid range scope enuff for 600m.Different bdc knobs and 1/2 moa elev adj whats not to like.Maybe you want to sell your 3x9?

I actually first discovered it when KevinB showed to the range with one..I said to myself, it would make an exellent scope for a Socom M14 :)

I've got the MR/T 3x9x36mm Mark4 M1. If your desired Leupold is anything like my MR/T, you are gonna be happier than a pig in shzt. I love my MR/T scope for Service Rifle games and also CQB shooting (3 power). I'm running a duplex reticle. Super fast acquisition.

I have a new 2.5-8x36 VXIII On my Husqvarna 7m Rem mag. Great scope. Lite weight sharp optics excellent quality. Not sure what you mean by the Mark 4 optics. Is this a completely different scope?

Yes, they are different.

So why respond telling about your VXIII?

Ever heard of Google?
Again, I have offended you. :bsFlag: I guess I responded to find out what the difference was. Is that such a problem ??

Never offended me at all, you are far too internet sensitive. If you want to know the difference, have a look at the Leupold website or at Google.

Very simple.

Never said that. Just nice when people can stick to the question the original poster asks.

Start your own thread if you cant comprehend something or want to give your opinion of what a "deer gun" is.
