Leupold Sucks! I can see the light now

Wow... I bet this guy is real good at ignoring his alarm clock too. The general consensus (for you democratically challenged, that means bigger amount, as in more than less) is leupold sells a very good product, I for one, as the majority here have also stated, have found leupold's service exceptional, along with their product. If it was the fellows in Okotoks, Ab you were talking too on the phone, I do not beleive you are telling the whole story as they have bent over backwards (and forwards:D ) for too many people I know to except what you are saying. Some dealer that is now out of business sold you the wrong part. Gee, go figure. I've worked in conjunction with Korth on a few items with customers when I was younger and you get sick of ignorance after awhile. Sorry you caught them at the wrong time. So If you want to trust your hard earned hunt and time off to toy company manufactured rifle optics, be my guest. This thread was started to publicly bad mouth (Leupold Sucks?) a company that doesn't deserve it and hence you have recieved a few members two cents.
Enjoy your Bush*t Trophy, when it tinkles, it'll make a great paper weight. :bangHead:

And does anyone know how to hanged something up? I've hung stuff up, but never hanged it up. Go figure.

Leupold

The boys in Okotoks have always been good to me,not that I have had any problems with any of my five Leupolds(or their mounts).I hope you don't ever have to send one of your Bushnells for warranty(God Forbid!).I'm sure you will enjoy the experience!:D Mur

I really like my Leupolds and had to replace an older Burris scout style scope with a 2.5 scout scope of Leupold make.
I personally have had no problems with the more common weaver mounts and bases.
I agree 100% with rem338 and Mur there in regards to super dependable optics, you get what you pay for.
Nester is so right, the title of this thread is pretty odd.....I do not expect to see this subject often!

this would appear to be more of a gunsmithing issue, no:confused:
how does a gripe with leupold mounts degenerate into a slag on their scopes:confused:

I never said there scopes were crap, they are one of the best in the world, big bucks that I don't have! As for the base I bought it's sitting in my reloading room in the junk box and my rifle has weaver bases and rings

I thought you said you had a one piece B-Square on it?:p

I said the B-Square base fits, all the holes line up. I want to put Leupold rings and base and have the rifle pianted camo, I like how that set-up looks

I CAN SEE THE LIGHT, I just received a leupold vxII 3x9x40 from a fellow CGN and without question it is the best scope i have ever owned to date, now I need one for 22-250

The gun shop that I bought the base is closed because he died. The package the base came in says Savage 110LH and it doesn't fit my lefthand 110

that's because your 110L from '59 is a medium length action...shorter than a regular long 110, but longer than a current Model 10 short action...I had one in 308, also a lefty..mine dated Pre'60...
