Well...
Whether you are, or are not going to hunt with it, then I have a couple of levers that might be of interest..
This is my Rossi .357 Magnum shorty lever:
My pair of .454 Rossi's:
My 30-30 (top) and .44 Magnum (bottom):
This one shows the size of my 30-30 compared to the .454:
,357 Mag is probably the most cost effective due to the price of .38 special and .357 Mag ammo. I prefer the .454 as I shoot .45 Colt through them. You can load down .45 to almost no recoil, or max it out to about the same as a .44 Mag. In today's market, over the counter .45 Colt is about the same price as 30-30, so I've been shelving the .454s in favour of my 30-30s these days.
On the other hand, I just picked up this toy for $200:
It was in really rough shape when I got it, but it recovered quite nicely, and is about to get the large loop treatment!...
Yes... Chuck and the Duke were my hero's when I was a kid. But... Recently "Ghost Rider" is catching up. Hence the inspiration for the 30-30 skeleton frame.
I hope this has helped to wet your appetite for levers.
