I heard some guys talking about shooting moly-coated bullets with lightly coating the inside of the barrel with WD-40 to reduce friction, resulting in less barrel/rifling wear and greater accuracy.......is this true?
I own an M700P .308 and sometimes use Winchester 168 gr. Ballistic SilverTips which I believe are a moly-coated bullets...would it be a good idea to do this, or is that just crazy talk????
Thanks.
