Did not realize that the TOZ-8 was a trainer, cool.

Yes,it was.We didn't have many of them in Poland but there was a lot of them used in Soviet Union,DDR and Hungary.
It was phased out when Toz-16/17 came out.15 years ago I was told by Russian co-worker that they are still around in Far East part of Russia.

To the op. I've never seen a Canadian no. 8 or no. 9 .22 trainer. Those models are most associated with the U.K. And NZD respectively. If anyone has aka canadian marked version of one of these, that is not a uk conversion of a wartime longbranch, I will stand corrected :).

It won't be correcting you, I don't have a clue.;)

That was just me cutting and pasting.

I've got an FN Mauser scratch built .22 trainer. Looks identical to it's big brother in .30-'06. Bought them as a pair. Both are excellent shooters.

Ross Cadet, BSA Miniature War Office pattern 1909, BSA Martini with Canadian broad arrows stamped all over it. Cooey Model 82, SMLE No 2 Mk IV, Mossberg 46M. Those are mine but looking for more :)

I don't have the reference material here but you are missing a few of the early enfields. the No2 ?? short 22RF, 1912ish.

there is another thread specifically about these rifles.

but I'm having computer issues this week :(

Germany: ES350B (single shot) Mauser
MS350B (repeater) Mauser
Am pretty sure Geco & Walther had thier own small bore variants as well.

I own an ES350, Toz-8, Toz-17 and just am clinching a deal on a Canadian WWI Lee-Enfield SHT 22 MKIV* as we speak. This last one came built in 22 LR from the get go, not a reline.
