When the lil badger first came out i remember seeing it for $169, and sometimes on sale for a little bit less then that.

Things sure have changed...

Back when 1000 primers was around $27 backs and a pound of powder was maybe $30...... things have changed that's for sure!
Many Ruger's have almost doubled in price as well.

I'd pay that if it were 7.62x39mm...

A beefed up stainless steel Big Badger would be a hit for sure, I'd hit that for twice the price.

Marstar any chance you guys can throw one of these on a scale side-by-side with the original Lil Badger? Would love to know which one is lighter...

I seem to recall the newer version was reported as a hair heavier.

edit, took a quick look on chiappa's page and it's more then a hair...1.325kilos vs 1.5Kilos for the new model.

Almost half a pound which is surprising.

I saw that previously too, but I wasn't sure if that included the case or not.

That might explain it.... there really is not much info out there on the new model.

My little badger .22lr with a DaverII minimalist 3d printed grip weighs 3lbs
