LMT Barrel Issue (resolution)

Quite the fiasco indeed. As with browningautorifle, I have only had stellar service from Questar. Really don't know what to say, Scott has been very helpful and fast to reply to any email I ever sent him.

Leibermuster ...I've read all the posts and the extended drag out to the end. Including the one you just left. I stand firm, I've had no problems. They don't stand with hands in pockets waiting, they're working so it may take a moment to connect. When I called on the phone, they answered. When I sent messages, they responded. Op has an end to the issue, so there...

First and foremost, I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank-you and appreciation to everyone that followed the recent thread(s) and took the time to lend me their support (either publicly or privately). Questar has agreed to provide a full refund to resolve the issue, and the barrel in question is already in transit back to their office. Because the thread is now locked, and with the number of requests I received for an update on the resolution - I'm posting this here to bring about some closure (I tried posting this update in Questar's forum but I lack access privileges for some reason...) So again, thank-you all again for your unwavering encouragement and support. :D

I'm very happy to hear that you got the proper attention and resolution regarding your issue! :dancingbanana:
Least we could do "blaxsun"!

Read my post! Maybe then you will change your tune. No happy ending for me... Questar left me to hang for one of there own faulty products! HERE!

I'm sorry Angryeyebrows, but I refuse to get worked up. This isn't about you. I just say if you don't like a dealer, then don't deal with him. You're trying to tell me how to think. I'm not concerned with what you folks do or don't do. It seems that there's a "Get a rope" thing going on here. If they were poor or dishonest dealers, they'd be out of business. Anyway, you get the last word(as you will see) because I'm out of here.

The only one telling people how to think is YOU. Angryeyebrows and blaxun just relayed their experiences, they haven't asked for any action by members...PERIOD; not once. You're just a shill without a clue.

Really?

You're just a shill without a clue.

A shill, plant, or stooge is a person who publicly helps a person or organization without disclosing that he has a close relationship with that person or organization. Shill typically refers to someone who purposely gives onlookers the impression that he is an enthusiastic independent customer of a seller (or marketer of ideas) for whom he is secretly working. The person or group who hires the shill is using crowd psychology, to encourage other onlookers or audience members to purchase the goods or services (or accept the ideas being marketed). Shills are often employed by professional marketing campaigns. Plant and stooge more commonly refer to any person who is secretly in league with another person or organization while pretending to be neutral or actually a part of the organization he is planted in, such as a magician's audience, a political party, or an intelligence organization (see double agent).

"Shill" can also be used pejoratively to describe a critic who appears either all-too-eager to heap glowing praise upon mediocre offerings, or who acts as an apologist for glaring flaws. In this sense, they would be an implicit "shill" for the industry at large, possibly because their income is tied to its prosperity. The origin of the term shill is uncertain; it may be an abbreviation of shillaber. The word originally denoted a carnival worker who pretended to be a member of the audience in an attempt to elicit interest in an attraction. Some sources trace the usage back to 1914

Sorry, I said I wouldn't comment further...

Blaxsun with an xcr ? That'd be something :D
Pretty sure the rusty mws barrel, with the scratched bore, would still outshoot the xcr-m though :p
