Usually there is an Aimpoint Comp M2 resing on that upper.

Skullboy, many thanks for the pics. Nice setup. Is that a LMT enhanced bolt with nickel? Looks alittle brown?? Almost like a ceramic coating?

Dont think its nickel, ive got the LMT nickel on mine..and its pure pimpin shiney...easy to clean to.

Sparrow hit the nail on the head (as he should as I got the bolt /carrier from him. )

It is a Colt carrier and bolt that had been Electroless Nickle plated that has a matte finish.

Cleans up REALLY easy with a quick wipe!!!!!!!

Might as well turn this into the Mk 18 clone thread. I'm not done yet, but pretty close to completion:



- LMT 10.5" upper.
- LMT standard, single-stage trigger, Colt A2 grip.
- LMT SOPMOD stock.
- LMT rear BUIS.
- KAC RIS.
- KAC M4QD flash hider.
- Aimpoint CompM2 in QRP mount, still waiting on an authentic Wilcox mount.

Still to come are a CQD rear sling plate, London Bridge Trading single-point sling, A SureFire light, M16 BCG and Colt H2 buffer.
