There are a couple of differnet issues here, somewhat related, but different.
Concealed carry is something that I believe in, and would very much like to see again in Canada.
Same with HGH. It was once allowed, and I would like to see it return.
However, while both obviously involve handguns, they require a bit different equipment.
A CCW pistol would be on the smaller side, while a HGH pistol is going to be larger. And likely scope equiped. (this is for hunting big game. I would also welcome the chance to carry a small .22 for finishing off game taken with a rifle. I once made the mistake of putting a big game rifle to the back of the head of a deer I had downed. What a mess!) So I dont see the direct tie-in that some here are hinting at.
Having said that, if we can show that we are trustwothy in one aspect, then it may well make future fights easier.
More importantly, if we get one victory, it will inspire others to try and take on other gun issues.
