Local/Canadian source for Lanolin and Castor Oils

Find a sheep and wring it out for the lanolin oil. Used to find it at Tandy leather many moons ago.

After not finding any lanolin anywhere, I just found the best deal on Amazon.com and ordered.

Lanolin can be found in most department stores, supermarkets, or pharmacies that have a baby/nursing section. Apparently, it soothes chapped nipples.

Out of idle curiosity, what are you doing with this stuff?
Castor oil is vegetable oil and lanolin is what makes sheep's wool waterproof. Not much application for bullet casting.

Castor oil gets rid of moles. They hate it.

Anhydrous lanolin is super sticky and looks kinda like Vaseline can be ordered by pharmacies.
I've never used the liquid but would be interested in how it is too.

Great fir mixing 12 to 1 pistol case lube in a press.

I too purchased lanolin and castor oil from my local hippy store (Alternate Root Organics). Much cheaper than amazon.ca as well. I wish I could find a good source for cheap beeswax though. Only place I found was the same store and it was $17/lb. Ouch!
