Pathfinder said:I bought a set from Numrich a few years ago, It was ok but needed a bit of work, better than the chopped stock that was on there before.

mikepos said:I got repaired wood that was chemically stripped, some all stained, one pice hardly took it, one pice was left with it running and not wiped off, one was rubbed on and wiped off. The forestock loer was repaired. There's no way I would have bought it if I had seen it beforehand, I was shockjed when it came in.
mikepos said:LOL, "load of cra*." I though you meant me when I first starting reading...
No, I didn't bother returning it, seemed like too much trouble, and I have a worn out no3 I can stick it on whenever I get around to staining it closer. I might have gotten results had I gone through the effort, but I feel I shouldn't have to, I should get a decent from the start, so I feel justified in criticizing them. I'll look for my camera and post pics if you're interested, maybe my bitterness is leading to hyperbole. But I should have been notified about the repair at a minimum, and the QC regarding stain application is atrocious.
I was doing so well dealing with this, now the wounds are open again![]()
