Lockhart Tactical Raven Platinum Edition, .223 Wylde

I am debating between ordering a Silver with top charging handle and left side bolt release and the same but a blem platinum. I don’t really need ambi controls and I don’t need the rifle immediately. What do you guys think?
I ordered mine on the 12th, Lockhart got back to me yesterday saying it will be shipping out "soon". I pressed him on it and he said "this week". So we will see.
I had serious reservations about ordering one of these rifles due to my past experiences with Lockhart Tactical and the poor reputation they have cultivated over the years. I said to my self that I would only purchase one if I could physically handel / collect it in a store. But these rifles have become quite popular with some pretty good reviews that I decide to bite the bullet and pull the trigger on an online purchase before I missed the boat.

It says in the description that it has dual charging and ambidextrous bolt catch etc. Lockhart tactical website doesn’t list those for the gold only platinum. Wish I knew if it actually did come
With the top charging handle and left side bolt catch/release
6 weeks on platinum no handgaurd or barrel nut but also requested midlength barrel. That on showed up this week. But no complaints on final product. 6 weeks was kind of expected from track record in black. Other colors seem to move quicker at times. They were having problems earlier with coatings in black. The blems still need to be built and have lead time is my understanding. Also waiting on he limited upper run but that doesnt bother me.

My Blem 556 arrived today. Ordered Feb 09 and shipped yesterday. Over all I am pretty pleased with the quality. For a blem, the only blem I could find was on the clamp of the handguard. I will post some pics later this evening.

I removed the stock hand guard as I find it way too long and swapped it with a 12" Mlok (PSA I think?) I had in the parts bin. I have another 12" on the way but this will do for now. I added a revers mock supressor, some lights and lasers and Mlok AFG. I also picked up a an Arken EP8 for this rifle. Very nice optic but heavy. I had also picked up a Live Free Co Kung Fu Grip but didn't really dig it on this rifle so I went with a BCM mod something or other I had laying around.
