If it were me I would just shoot it as a 270. There are enough bullets available, and the extra velocity of the 270 will make up for bullets with a little less ballistic coefficient.
All you need to do is find one bullet and load that shoots great and your good to go. If you can't find a good load sell the 270 and buy a 308, but try the 270 first, it may be a real shooter.
