Most interesting thing is that Tikka uses retaining compound to take up about 6 thou of tolerance between the barrel and action. They also bevel the bottom edge of the chamber to make up for the fact they did not get the magazine angle right.
 
I wonder if Kidd will make barrels for the T1X.

I talked to Lilja the other day and asked if the will be making a drop in. They said they had no intentions because no one has asked. I said well that is because they are brand new. They said well we won’t be for quite a while then. I said goodbye I will do it myself.
 
Takes 5min to put the factory barrel back on. The custom barrel with a match chamber will shoot better there is no doubt. If I don’t do something with my time the wife makes me do trim and build closets.
